urgh…..complicated, happen just a week ago…..boot sector virus damage my harddrive, this made my file in damage…actually this hardrive is not mine, but my friends. Her Final Poject Data in Ms-word stored in that hard drive so I have to help her to recover the data. the virus called WYX.A, WYX.B, .C,. D until .E. the virus is boot sector virus infect the hardrive by Floppy Disk. how it infect our hardrive??. The BIOS setting in Our PC always set in master boot using Floppy disk, then the Second boot in Hard drive-0. so when a infected floppy disk booted from our PC with that Bios set, we will infected.

I surf along the day to find the way how to recover the data. some articles and forums said we have to move the infected hard drive to other normal PC and set it to slave hard drive in IDE, used the ANtivirus to detect and repair or delete the file…

I have followed what the article and forums said, but no result! so how.?I pray and really God Give me His Wisdom, I found the new way to handling by using NORTON PARTITION MAGIC. after the norton PM is on, check the infected harddrive, where the infected harddrive  cannont mounted or accessed or called unallocated. then righ click, and choose th UN-DELETE option. you will find back your data…
